Ou Benedict/Eggs Benedict
Ingrediente:
- 2 oua;
- 1 lingura otet;
- 2 chifle;
- 100 grame cascaval ras;
- 100 grame bacon sau sunca (dupa preferinta);
- 100 grame unt;
- 2 galbenusuri;
- zeama de la o lamaie;
- sare;
- piper.

Mod de preparare:
Intr-o tigaie topiti la foc mediu 100 grame de unt. Sosul olandez de face la bain-marie. In oala adaugati cele 2 galbenusuri si puneti treptat din cantitatea de unt topit. Amestecati foarte bine si repede cu un tel. Puneti zeama de la o lamaie si amestecati din nou. Daca sosul se taie puneti putina apa rece (2-3 linguri) si amestecati. Turnati sosul intr-un vas curat. In alta oala adaugati apa, sare si o lingura de otet. Lasati oala pe foc pana cand apa a inceput sa fiarba. Cand apa fierbe puneti cu grija cele 2 oua pe care le-ati spart inainte in boluri separate. Lasati aproximativ 3 minute si dupa le puteti scoate pe un servetel de bucatarie. Chiflele se pot rumeni in unt pentru cateva minute. Baconul puteti sa il prajiti de asemenea in unt. Ungeti chifla cu sos olandez, adaugati cascaval ras, bacon/sunca si puneti oul posat deasupra. Condimentati cu piper dupa gust.

1 tablespoon vinegar;
2 bread rolls;
100 grams grated cheese;
100 grams bacon or ham (as you prefer);
100 grams butter;
2 egg yolks;
juice of 1 lemon;
salt;
black pepper.

Method of preparation:
Melt the 100 grams of butter over medium heat. The hollandaise sauce is made in a bain-marie (double boiler). In the bowl set over the bain-marie, add the 2 egg yolks and gradually whisk in the melted butter, whisking very quickly and continuously. Add the juice of 1 lemon and whisk again. If the sauce splits, add a little cold water, about 2 to 3 tablespoons, and whisk until it comes back together. Pour the sauce into a clean bowl.
In another pot, add water, salt, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and bring it to a boil. When the water is boiling, carefully add the 2 eggs, each one cracked beforehand into a separate bowl, and poach them for about 3 minutes. Remove them and place them on a kitchen paper towel to drain. Toast the bread rolls in butter for a few minutes. You can also fry the bacon in butter. Spread hollandaise sauce on the bread roll, add the grated cheese, add the bacon or ham, and place the poached egg on top. Season with black pepper to taste.
