Mancare de mazare cu pui/Pea stew with chicken
Ingrediente:
- 500 grame mazare;
- 300 grame pulpe superioare de pui dezosate;
- 1 ceapa;
- ½ ardei gras rosu;
- 1 morcov;
- 1 lingura de ulei;
- 2 linguri pasta de tomate;
- sare;
- piper;
- 2 catei de usturoi;
- ½ legatura de marar;
- ½ legatura de patrunjel verde.

Mod de preparare:
Pulpele superioare de pui se curata, se spala si sunt taiate in bucati. Ceapa, morcovul si ardeiul gras se curata si se spala. Eu am taiat morcovul rondele iar ceapa si ardeiul le-am taiat cubulete. Intr-o oala se pune o lingura de ulei. Dupa ce uleiul s-a incalzit adaugati ceapa, ardeiul gras si morcovul. Lasati 2 minute la calit fara sa ardeti legumele. Peste adaugati carnea si mazarea. Umpleti oala cu apa cat sa acopere mazarea si carnea si amestecati foarte bine. Lasati sa fiarba la foc mediu si daca se formeaza spuma la suprafata o indepartati cu ajutorul unei linguri. Cand sosul s-a format si carnea a fiert, adaugati 2 catei de usturoi dati prin presa, sare, piper si pasta de tomate. Amestecati foarte bine totul si mai lasati pe foc aproximativ 10 minute. Patrunjelul si mararul se toaca marunt si se adauga in mancare la sfarsit. Puteti sa gatiti si varianta de post.

1 onion;
½ red bell pepper;
1 carrot;
1 tablespoon oil;
2 tablespoons tomato paste;
salt;
pepper;
2 garlic cloves;
½ bunch dill;
½ bunch fresh parsley.

Method of preparation:
Clean, wash, and cut the chicken thighs into pieces. Peel and wash the onion, carrot, and bell pepper. I sliced the carrot into rounds and diced the onion and bell pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot. Once hot, add the onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat without burning the vegetables. Add the chicken and peas. Fill the pot with enough water to cover the peas and chicken, then stir well. Bring to a boil over medium heat and skim off any foam that forms on the surface with a spoon. Once the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked, add the 2 garlic cloves (pressed), salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Stir everything thoroughly and simmer for another 10 minutes. Finely chop the parsley and dill and stir them into the dish at the end. You can also make a fasting version.
