Trandafiri din foietaj si mere/Puff pastry apple roses
Ingrediente:
2 mere rosii si mari;
1 foaie de aluat de foietaj (~ 300 grame);
2 linguri de zahar tos;
1 lingurita de scortisoara pudra;
1 ou (pentru uns);
suc de lamaie (optional);
zahar pudra (pentru decor);
2 picaturi colorant alimentar rosu.
Portii: 6 trandafiri
Timp de preparare: 20 minute (pregatire), 30 minute (coacere)
Mod de preparare:
Merele se spala si sunt taiate in sferturi. Se indeparteaza cotorul si semintele. Taie fiecare sfert de mar in felii foarte subtiri. Peste feliile de mar se poate adauga suc de lamaie (previne oxidarea). Desfasoara foaia de aluat pe o blatul de lucru si taie-o in benzi de aproximativ 5 cm latime. Intr-un bol, amesteca zaharul tos cu scortisoara. Presara amestecul de zahar cu scortisoara peste benzile de aluat. Aseaza feliile de mar la un capat al benzii de aluat, suprapunandu-le usor. Ruleaza cu grija benzile de aluat pana obtii forma unui trandafir. Procedeaza la fel si pentru celelalte benzi de aluat. Unge o tava cu unt sau tapeteaz-o cu hartie de copt. Aseaza cu grija trandafirii in tava. Bateti un ou si ungeti fiecare trandafir. Poti unge trandafirii cu un mix format din putina apa (1 lingura) si 2-3 picaturi de colorant alimentar rosu (pentru un aspect mai placut), acest pas fiind strict optional. Trandafirii ii coaceti aproximativ 30 minute sau pana cand aluatul devine auriu si crocant. Cand sunt gata ii scoateti si ii lasati la racit. Puteti sa adaugati zahar pudra deasupra (pentru decor).

· 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
· 1 egg (for brushing);
· lemon juice (optional);
· powdered sugar (for decoration);
· 2 drops red food coloring.

Preparation time: 20 minutes (prep), 30 minutes (baking)
Method of preparation:
Wash the apples and cut them into quarters. Remove the core and seeds. Slice each apple quarter into very thin slices. You can add a little lemon juice over the apple slices to prevent browning. Unroll the puff pastry on a work surface and cut it into strips about 5 centimeters wide. In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture over the pastry strips. Arrange the apple slices along one edge of each pastry strip, slightly overlapping them. Carefully roll up each strip to form a rose shape, then repeat with the remaining strips.
Grease a baking tray with butter or line it with baking paper, then place the roses in the tray. Beat the egg and brush each rose. Optionally, you can brush the roses with a mixture of a little water, about 1 tablespoon, and 2 to 3 drops of red food coloring for a nicer look. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crisp. Remove the roses and let them cool, then dust with powdered sugar for decoration.
