Chec marmorat cu cirese/Marble cherry cake
Ingrediente:
· 4 oua;
· 180 grame zahar;
· 150 grame unt moale;
· 100 grame iaurt grecesc;
· 250 grame faina;
· 10 grame praf de copt;
· 1 lingurita extract de vanilie;
· 20 grame cacao;
· 2 linguri lapte;
· 250 grame cirese fara samburi;
· 1 lingura faina, pentru cirese;
· 1 praf de sare.
Portii: 8

Servings: 8
Preparation time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C and line a loaf pan with baking paper. Beat the softened butter together with the sugar until smooth and creamy, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the greek yogurt and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder and salt, then gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mixing until a smooth batter is obtained. Transfer approximately one-third of the batter to another bowl and mix it with the cocoa powder and milk. Drain the cherries well, pat them dry and toss them with one tablespoon of flour. Pour alternating layers of the plain batter and cocoa batter into the loaf pan, adding the cherries between the layers. Using a toothpick, gently swirl the batter a few times to create the marbled effect. Bake the cake for approximately 50 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Leave it in the pan for approximately 10 minutes, then remove it and allow it to cool completely.
